Custom domains
Every project gets a https://<project>.servano.io subdomain automatically.
On any paid plan you can also serve your app from your own domain with
automatically provisioned SSL.
Adding a domain
- Open your project → Domains → Add domain.
- Enter the domain (
yourdomain.comorapp.yourdomain.com). - Create the DNS records shown in the wizard with your DNS provider:
CNAME www cname.servano.io
A @ 95.216.0.1
TXT _servano-verify servano-verify=<your-token>
- Servano verifies the records (usually within minutes, DNS caches permitting) and issues a Let's Encrypt certificate automatically.
How verification works
- Subdomains (
app.yourdomain.com): a single CNAME tocname.servano.iois enough. - Apex domains (
yourdomain.com): use the A record above, or an ALIAS/ANAME record if your DNS provider supports it. - The TXT record proves ownership and prevents domain takeover.
SSL certificates
Certificates are issued via Let's Encrypt as soon as DNS verification passes and renewed automatically ~30 days before expiry. TLS 1.2 and 1.3 are supported; traffic is redirected from HTTP to HTTPS by default.

Troubleshooting
- Stuck on "Pending DNS" — records not visible yet. Check with
dig +short yourdomain.comand remember DNS changes can take up to an hour. - SSL "Pending" — verification passed but issuance is in progress; this usually resolves within two minutes.
- Cloudflare users — set the proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud) during verification; you can re-enable the proxy afterwards.
